Jessica Stone is a freelance multimedia correspondent - based in Washington, covering every major beat for major television and radio networks. Most recently, she provided live coverage of the debt ceiling deal on Capitol Hill to the nation's CBS affiliates.  She also had a ring-side seat at the surprising Casey Anthony verdict in Orlando, Florida as a correspondent for the nation's FOX affiliates.  In March, she accompanied President Barack Obama on his trip to Brazil for CCTV English.  She also led the network's coverage of Chinese President Hu Jintao's state visit in January, offering hourly live reports from the White House & Chicago.  

In the fall of 2010, Jessica reported live from the United Nations General Assembly in NY and covered the currency wars at the International Monetary Fund's conference in Washington. She also traveled to California to interview Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for a series of reports on the state's economy. During the mid-term elections,  she spent a week in Alaska, tracking the three-way US Senate Race which resulted in the first write-in win in the US Senate since 1954 for Senator Lisa Murkowski.

Jessica also traveled to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to cover the military commission trial of Ibrahim Al-Qosi, an associate of Osama Bin Laden. In March 2010, she spent one week in Haiti, offering live radio coverage of the UN donor conference after the January earthquake & shooting a C-SPAN documentary.

After working as a local television reporter, Jessica branched out in 2009 with a two-month trip to Afghanistan to cover the security buildup and the national presidential elections as an independent stringer for a variety of print, radio and television outlets.  She is fluent in French.
